ONE Fighting Championship™ (ONE FC), presented by Casino Filipino and in association with Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC), announced today the final two main card bouts for ONE FC: RISE TO POWER. Rey Docyogen will battle Yasuhiro Urushitani and Geje Eustaquio will take on Andrew Leone. All the action takes place live on 31 May from the 20,000-seat MOA Arena in Manila, Philippines.

I haven't been blogging for quite a while now. When I say blogging, I mean writing my thoughts on sports and then some. Been really busy covering sports events for InterAKTV and it's pretty much a luxury for me to update this here blog of mine. Let's just say this is my first official blog entry since... uhm, I dunno.  So on that note, here's what went down on the first day of NBA Legend Muggsy Bogues' visit here in the Philippines.

New batch of Jr. NBA All Stars and Coach of the Year announced April 28

The 2013 Jr. NBA Philippines Program presented by Alaska holds its National Training Camp on April 26 to 28 at the University of the Philippines Gym in Diliman and at the SM Mall of Asia, bringing to a close the 4-month long series of clinics and regional selection camps that identified the most promising young cagers of the land.

Jr. NBA coaches pick players at draft for first-ever alumni game

Basketball aficionados and enthusiasts of junior basketball, led by the National Training Camp qualifiers, will be treated to an exciting basketball match at noon of April 28 during the National Training Camp of the Jr. NBA Philippines 2013 presented by Alaska.

Tyrone Curtis “Muggsy” Bogues, who at 5’3” is the shortest player ever to play in the NBA, will visit the Philippines from April 26 – 28 to participate in the 2013 Jr. NBA presented by Alaska National Training Camp. Bogues will be in Manila to help coach participants from all over the country vying for a spot on the Jr. NBA All-Star Team.

Volcanoes prepare to battle against Asia’s best

The Philippine National Rugby Team is in the thick of preparations for their debut in the Elite Division of the HSBC Asian 5 Nations Rugby competition. The Volcanoes will face their biggest challenge to date, facing number one-ranked Japan in the A5N opener to be held in Fukuoka on Saturday, April 20.
