It seems as though winning is just the usual thing for the Ateneo Blue Eagles. Ray Parks Jr. and the Bulldogs were looking to make an upset on the defending champs but it wasn't to be. Greg Slaughter manned the paint and dropped 15 points, 7 boards, 2 blocks and 1 assist for Ateneo. FEU keeps UE winless 66-47
Another woeful game for the rebuilding UE Red Warriors. Coach Jerry Codinera was still trying to figure out a way to get his team break the ice. Nobody can deny the how good a team the FEU Tams are. It's all business for this current Tamaraws team as they held the Red Warriors to the bottom of the standings.
FEU's Chris Exciminiano was the high point man as he scored 12 points, had 4 key steals and blocked a couple of shots. He also had 1 dime drop by the way.

DLSU finally gets a W over UP 79-67
The Gang Green finally made it to the winners circle as they defeated the UP Fighting Maroons 79-67. Luigi Dela Paz powered his team off the bench to end DLSU's slump. It was a relief for coach Dindo Pumaren to get that much needed W on a hot team like the UP Fighting Maroons.
UP is on a 2-game losing streak and Mike Silungan ain't a happy camper. He did manage to score 16 points, 5 boards, dropped 4 dimes, 2 blocks and 1 steal for the Maroons.
The Archers' hero Luigi Dela Paz had 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 dime drops.
Blue Eagles destroy hapless Red Warriors 73-61
Despite giving the defending champs a run for their money in the 1st half, the Red Warriors efforts were still in vain. It was yet another disappointing game for UE coach Jerry Codinera. They were hoping to pull an upset on Ateneo but coach Norman Black just couldn't let that happen.
Ateneo's Greg Slaughter was a force down low as he had a double-double performance with 18 points, 10 boards and 2 blocked shots. It was also another great game for Kiefer Ravena as he contributed 13 points, 4 assists and a couple of rebounds for the Blue Eagles.

FEU Tamaraws roll past the NU Bulldogs 62-59
There was absolutely no stopping the Tams' rampage and the Bulldogs were simply no match for them. Although the NU did give them a hard time defensively -- most notably Ray Parks Jr's tenacious D -- they managed to overcome their sloppiness and sealed their W nevertheless.
RR Garcia dropped 17 points, had 4 boards, 3 assists and a blocked shot for FEU.
In a losing effort, the Bulldogs' Ray Parks Jr. was held to only 11 points but managed to grab 5 rebounds, dropped 3 dimes and stolen the ball 3 times.
Adamson stop UST's win streak 81-71
Just 1 deadlock and 1 lead change -- that pretty much says it all. The Adamson Soaring Falcons simply dominated the coach Pido Jarencio's UST Growling Tigers. It was a sign that the Falcons are hungry to win that much coveted championship this season. They were all over the place may it be on D or scoring.
Bottomline is, it was the Growling Tigers first taste of defeat. Coach Leo Austria didn't think twice about letting his team's guard down get punk'd in the process.
Janus Lozada lead Adamson with 21 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Teammate Eric Camson chipped in with 19 points, 7 boards and had 1 assist.
UST's Jeric Teng chalked up 15 points, 2 dimes, 2 steals and got one rebound.
