The extreme sport of Skateboarding has been around for years. It's no surprise that the sport's popularity is once again back in the Philippines. While "Thrashers" as skateboarders were called back in the 80's (the BMX bikers were known as "Riders" at the time), every thrasher/skater has his/her own custom board. Sure, a skateboard has a standard size and weight but for a thrashers, they like make it their own, jazz it up. Simply put, they have to standout one way or another.

Adidas have been making the best quality sports and lifestyle apparel. While the guys are the ones getting all the love from the 3-stripes, the ladies are not to be outdone that's for sure. Nike Sportswear Contest

With this here Sports blog of mine turning 3 in June, I think it's about time I do contest. This is my first time to do one and I hope y'all join. Many thanks to Nike Philippines for letting me host this contest. This is related to the Nike Sportswear Digital LookBook posted in this blog.

The 3-stripes celebrated 2-days of fun-filled activities last May 14 & 15 at the front of the EastWood City Mall in Libis, QC. The event started at 10 pm of the 14th and was kicked off with some B-Boy and B-Girl action and Graffiti art contest. Though I wasn't there on the first day (or night) of the event, I knew a lot peeps would be there and show Adidas some love.

Summer is still around and the Swoosh brand's got a lot of stuff for y'all to check out in this warm yet fun season. Introducing the Nike Sportswear Summer Collection for 2011 -- a toned down version of the brand's high performance apparel and kicks specially made to those who simply want the basic stuff, if y'all know what I mean.

With the launch of the "Adidas Is All In" campaign last month, the 3-stripes brand is literally going all out for their 24 hour celebration this summer on May 14-15 at Eastwood City in Libis Quezon City. There are a lot of cool stuff happening there at the event for y'all to check out. This event is not only for the sneakerheads alike but also those who are into the fashion and graffiti art.

Puma Philippines recently launched their new campaign called "Puma Social" aimed to those that are (sort of) into sports and lifestyle apparel. I've mentioned about it before the said launch. While the event was held on April Fool's night, Puma wasn't joking about what they had in store for sneaker heads and sports enthusiasts alike. It was held at Republiq Club in Resorts World Hotel. Not only were the shoe heads treated to some Foosball and Table Tennis action but also the regular party goers of the club as well.

Puma has been around in the sneaker scene for a long time. The fastest man in the world Usain Bolt is not only enjoying the Puma love but also Football players and Formula One drivers. While the brand is obviously akin to sports, Puma is launching it's new campaign called "Puma Social".
The said campaign is not only for Sports junkies but also those who simply likes to chill out with friends and what not.
