It's a Social thing for Puma

Puma has been around in the sneaker scene for a long time. The fastest man in the world Usain Bolt is not only enjoying the Puma love but also Football players and Formula One drivers. While the brand is obviously akin to sports, Puma is launching it's new campaign called "Puma Social".
The said campaign is not only for Sports junkies but also those who simply likes to chill out with friends and what not.

On April 1, 2011, Puma will be launching "Puma Social" at Republiq Club, Resorts World Hotel -- No April Fool's joke. Not only that, you can also check out the new Puma releases of sneakers and gear there as well. With the popularity of Street/Urban wear in the Philippines, Puma's got you covered.

Mark your calendar folks, April 1, 2011, Friday at Republiq Club, Resorts World Manila. Gates open at 9:30 pm.

‘PUMA^® SOCIAL’ CAMPAIGN CREATES A COMMUNITY OF

AFTER-HOURS ATHLETES

Spring-Summer 2011 - PUMA brings fun and irreverence to the sports sphere once again with the launch of ‘PUMA Social,’ a new campaign bringing together after-hours athletes from around the world. Are you a top shooter in foosball? A master at darts? A ping-pong sensation? Or a bowling wizard? If 5AM cab rides are more your style than 5AM runs, then PUMA Social was made for you. PUMA Social is where fans of old-school diversions can come together online and offline to share in social exchange and friendly competition.

The campaign is hinged by a number of elements including a mood video (available in multiple languages on a variety of platforms); cheeky in-store adverts; a web and mobile application called Life Scoreboard (http://www.lifescoreboard.com ) that allows users to keep a running score on anything and everything they want to turn into a competition; and a PUMA Social website (www.puma.com/social ) that fuses PUMA-created and user-generated content that is updated dynamically on the site.

PUMA Social is about a distinct lifestyle rather than a specific product. Products that will be incorporated under the PUMA Social theme and featured in advertisements include iconic styles such as PUMA Suede and the T7 Track Jacket.

PUMA Social Clubs have started opening in key cities worldwide, beginning in October 2010 and extending into 2011. Cities hosting PUMA Social Clubs include Los Angeles, London, Milan, Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong and Manila.

The Puma Social Campaign in the Philippines will kick off this Friday, April 1, 9:30 PM at Republiq Club Resorts World. The Puma Social Games will start in Manila via a run at Encore Superclub’s House Party on April 12, 19 & 23 and will continue in Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Davao and Bacolod until May 2011.
