Season 76 of the UAAP has been roller coaster of sorts. A lot of memorable moments that certainly lived up to this year's theme: Greatness Never Ends. A new champion has been crowned in the UAAP Women's Volleyball tournament and indeed, what a historic finish for the Ateneo Lady Eagles.

Now that UAAP 76 is already in the books, we all gonna look forward to Season 77. With that in mind, here's the top 10 countdown y'all have been waiting for:

Yup. It's that time once again. Will be doing that list y'all have been waiting for. Last time though it was for the Philippine Super Liga or PSL, we gonna do one for the UAAP. I'm happy and thankful many of you supported the first Pretty Fly For A Spiker list. Most of all, I'm happy that I got my first winner from the said promo. She's all the way from Leyte and she got a PSL jersey -- a Rachel Anne Daquis TMS-Army jersey set that is -- courtesy of LGR Sportswear.

This Sunday is gonna be a big day for UAAP 76 Women's Volleyball. Host school Adamson University will go up against National University in the first game. The main game will feature the much awaited clash between rival schools Ateneo and La Salle. It's worth noting that although the Lady Eagles have been on a win streak of their own, they face the defending champions whom are also gunning for their 6th win.

The Adamson Lady Falcons are looking to get their groove back as there are only a handful of games left the in the first round of UAAP 76 Women's Volleyball. Fresh from their big win against UST last December, they're in the hopes of making a repeat performance against the UE Lady Warriors this Sunday afternoon.

Host school Adamson University have had quite a rocky start in season 76 of UAAP Women's Volleyball. It's become an up and down road so to speak for the Lady Falcons despite having such a solid lineup for this season. Pau Soriano may have been a big loss to the team but somehow Adamson finds a way to compromise and forge much needed wins.

The UAAP 76 Women's Volleyball is pretty much on a roll and only a few games in the first round of eliminations in the tournament. Defending champs DLSU recently extended their win streak against UP last December 18, 2013. So far, it's been a walk in the park for the Lady Spikers with their current unblemished record. sitting on top of the standings.

Christmas is just around the corner and TMS-Army still reigns supreme after winning their second title in the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix. PLDT MyDSL were also crowned as the champs in the inaugural Men's Division in the tournament. But we talking about the ladies here folks.

New team, new teammates. That's what Libero Jheck Dionela went through after "switching jerseys" with Jen Reyes who now plays for her former club -- Cagayan Valley Lady Rising Suns. It was a tough transition for the petite Libero but eventually, everything went well. Soon enough, she's now back in the hunt for another chance at winning her first ever PSL title that eluded her last conference.

After about a month of competition, two teams remain for the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix Championship. This is like deja vu all over again. In the first conference, TMS-Army and Cignal HD went head to head in the Finals which eventually Army won the inaugural PSL crown. Fast forward to this Saturday, December 14 -- TMS-Army and Cignal HD crossed paths yet again for the championship.

Host school Adamson University didn't exactly have a good start especially when their first game were against defending champs during UAAP 76 Volleyball season opener. The Lady Falcons currently hold a 1-1 record. In their game against the new look UP Lady Maroons last Sunday, December 8, it all seemed like it was gonna be a walk in the park for them -- or so they thought.

The UST Tigresses are by far the favorites in challenging defending champs La Salle for the coveted Volleyball title in UAAP season 76. They currently have a 1-1 record thus far. Their first loss came at the hands of the DLSU Lady Spikers last Sunday. Albeit wounded, the Tigresses are not to be underestimated. After all, competition hasn't even heated up.

Whassup Volleyball fans! I know y'all have been waiting for some volleyball updates here in this Sports Blog of mine. More stories on them to come, don't y'all worry. The DLSU Lady Spikers were off to a good start with a 2-0 record in UAAP 76. In the season opener of the Volleyball games last December 1, they chalked up their first win over host school Adamson University.

About a week ago, the Philippines was hit by strongest typhoon ever recorded in history and the most affected part of the country was in the Visayas Region. Gretchen Ho with Petron Blaze Spikers teammates Kara Acevedo, Karla Bello, Dzi Gervacio and Steph Mercado thought of a way to help the victims of Typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan particularly in Tacloban city.

Hi all! Since the UAAP Season 76 and NCAA Season 89 Volleyball games are fast approaching, I'ma be posting a lot of exclusive stories and then some on Air Tsinelas before they all start. I'm also covering the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix so there will be stuff on that as well.

First off, my apologies for posting just a handful of content on this blog. Rest assured that Air Tsinelas will be active in posting the latest stuff happening in Sports today. I'm very much excited to bring y'all the great Sports stuff so stay tuned for more.

Bomberinas ready for 2013 Asian Volleyball Championship

The Philippine Women's Volleyball Team are set to compete at the 2013 Asian Volleyball Championships in Thailand from September 13-21. With the tournament just a few days away, the Bomberinas have been hard at work for their preparations despite most of the players' tight schedule playing for their respective teams in Season 10 of the Shakey's V-League Open Conference. Plus, the whole team was put up on such short notice.

Former UST Tigress Venus Bernal of Cignal HD received the PSL Invitiational Most Valuable Player honors. The veteran spiker is one of the reasons why Cignal HD earned their spot in the Philippine Super Liga title match. Her tenacity, leadership and never-say-die attitude was a no brainer for the MVP plum.

The highly anticipated Philippine Super Liga Finals as volleyball fans trooped the Mall of Asia Arena to witness the Pro Volleyball league’s first ever championship match. After 3 weeks of heart-stopping volleyball action, only two teams remain – TMS-Philippine Army Lady Troopers and Cignal HD Spikers – clash for the coveted PSL crown.

Gatorade unveil new logo and brand ambassadors

On Monday, Gatorade Philippines held an exclusive event for media to launch their new "G" logo. We all know that Gatorade is the leading and most trusted sports drink and it's also being endorsed by non other than the G.O.A.T. himself, Michael Jordan. In line with the launch is also the introduction of Gatorade's newest ambassadors of the brand composed of professional and student athletes. They're simply dubbed as G-Elite and G Rising Stars.

DLSU Lady Spikers clinch back-to-back Volleyball titles

It was a rough ride for the defending champs during the Finals. After their successful 14-0 sweep in the elimination rounds, they've earned the 1-0 advantage in the Finals and thus crossed paths with their rivals Ateneo to challenge for their championship hardware. Sure, Ateneo has won countless titles in basketball but in volleyball however, it has eluded them for many years.
