After watching the highlights and results of the Italian Grand Prix last Sunday, it's safe to say that JB is back! I've been waiting for him to pick up where he finally left off. Although having finished 2nd in the podium, he still tops the Drivers' Championship by 80 points. His Brawn GP teammate Rubens Barichello got the chequered flag and he's the number 2 guy in the standings. Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen placed 3rd in the race.
At least now, all the smoke is cleared on what happened at the Belgian Grand Prix recently. I expect him to repeat his performance in Singapore. It would be better of course, if he finishes first there -- he should still be fine if he takes 2nd or 3rd -- as long as Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel or his Brazilian teammate Barichello finish in any of the top 3 spots. Though I'm happy he had a good race last week, he still needs to redeem himself. His 2nd podium finish should be a wake up call for him.
On that note, I hope his win streak continues at the Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore come September 27. Time for you to step up Mr. Button. Your top spot in the Drivers' Championship is hanging in the balance.
