Things are looking up for the youngest Formula One Champ Sebastian Vettel this season. Now that he's the top dog in the competition, defending his title won't be an easy task. Thanks to him, he elevated Red Bull Racing to new heights. Winning the title has eluded him many times in his young F1 career. Last season was last season. This time around, he's the target of every driver in Formula One.

Green may be the trademark color for the Boston Celtics but who says the Bulls can't rock that color? In celebration of St. Patrick's day last March 17, Derrick Rose rocked the Green version of the AdiZero Rose 1.5's. The Irish Holiday is not only an important occasion in Ireland but also in the US as well. The Chicago Bulls are one of the few teams that went green.

Live airing of Azkals' game on TV doubtful

As the Philippine Azkals prepare themselves for a game against Myanmar tomorrow for the AFC Challenge Cup, Filipino fans expecting to watch their game live on free TV is in doubt. Obviously, Myanmar has strict rules in airing live sporting events. Pretty sure, that is not good news for Azkals fans here in the country.

Six-time NBA champion and Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen will be honored by the Chicago Bulls with a bronze bust on April. Michael Jordan got his bronze statue in front of the United Center, now it's Scottie's turn to get one -- only just a part of him will be immortalized that is. This is indeed a great gesture from the Bulls organization.

PHL Azkals advance to AFC Challenge Cup albeit loss to Mongolia

The Philippine Azkals had a big win against Mongolia in Bacolod last February. While the Azkals have the advantage in qualifying for the AFC Challenge Cup, playing at the Blue Wolves' home turf is big challenge altogether. For about a month, they trained up north to Baguio and Japan to prepare themselves for the cold weather in Mongolia. The earthquake that struck Japan almost hindered the Azkals to make their flight to Ulan Bator, Mongolia.

Inevitably, the Mongolians have the edge when it comes to playing in freezing temperature. The Azkals were without key players like Neil Etheridge, Rob Gier and Chris Greatwich. Another Azkals player Ray Jonnson almost didn't make it to the lineup as he flew in to Mongolia just in time. Despite it all, the Philippine Team were just as ready to take on the Blue Wolves.

I've waited for the release of these Retro Air Jordan XIII All Star/Playoffs here in the Philippines. Had the OG's back in 1998 -- my first pair of J's that I ever owned -- I simply needed a fresh pair. I didn't get the original box 'coz the J's were in a balikbayan box when a relative came home to the country all the way from Chicago.

Follow the directions.

Marathons have been the rage here in the Philippines. These running events have been going around since 2009 I believe. The sport is pretty much a common event in the Olympics and I've always wondered why it's getting all the attention as of late. Curious, I decided to cover a running event last March 6 -- Run United 1 2011, organized by Unilab Active Health and Run Rio.
