If there's another thing besides basketball, boxing and football the Filipinos are a fan of, wrestling would be it. Suffice to say that the Philippines is also "wrestling country" and if the names Hulk Hogan, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Edge, just to name a few ring a bell then y'all know what I'm talking about.
If you're a WWE or TNA fan, y'all be in for a treat on February 4 as former WWE Superstars and current TNA wrestlers collide for a one night only wrestling action dubbed as "World Wrestling Fan Xperience: WWFX Wrestling Champions Showcase 2012". I know it's been 3 years since a wrestling event was held here and I'm sure a lot you have been craving to see another one (like yours truly).
Some of the top names in wrestling like former WWE Intercontinental Champion John Morrison (Hennigan), Former WWE United States Champion MVP (Montell Vontavious Porter), Former WWE Tag Team champion and current Ring of Honor Tag Team champion Shelton Benjamin, former WWE Superstar Chris Masters (currently with TNA Ring Ka King), Former WWE US Champ, Money In The Bank Winner and former TNA World Heavyweight champ Mr. Anderson, just to name a few will be in action.
A couple of former WWE Divas like Jillian Hall (former WWE Diva's Champ) and Melina (former WWE Women's champ and Divas champ) will slug it out at the event as well.
So Pinoy wrestling fan's y'all better not miss this event. Mark your calendar on this one: Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
