After pulling off a shocker in Game 1 of the PCCL 2010 finals, it didn't sit too well for Ateneo Coach Norman Black and his boys. Nevertheless, Black wasted no time to go back to the drawing board and make adjustments for Game 2 in a couple of days. Adamson's victory over Ateneo was indeed a big one but they need to pick up where they left off in the first game. No easy task for Falcons' Coach Leo Austria to play the same way they did against the defending PCCL Champions.
Adamson were off to a good start leading the Ateneo 30-24 in the first half. They started to struggle in the 3rd quarter as the Blue Eagles defense started to pick up and made key transition plays. Ateneo got the lead to 51-45 in the third.
Despite the Soaring Falcons' Jan Colina, Lester Alvarez and Alex Nuyles doing all the dirty work, it wasn't enough to keep up with Ateneo's scoring run. William Stinnett fouled out in the 4th quarter finishing with only 2 points in the game.

Playing in his final year in a Blue Eagles jersey, Eric Salamat wants to win one more title before he's officially done with college ball. He did just that chalking up 23 points and 4 assists, carried his team to 70-59 win over the Adamson Falcons. The series is now tied to two a piece.(Photo by Roy Afable)
Ateneo's Nico Salva ruled the paint with 11 rebounds along with his 1o points while teammate Emman Monfort had 11 points, 5 boards and dropped 5 dimes in the game.
Jan Colina was the leading scorer for the Falcons with 18 points, 7 rebounds and a couple of dimes. Alex Nuyles was also in Adamson's scoreboard with 26 points, 5 boards and 5 assists.
Referee: "I saw you make that foul. How many times do I have to tell you that?"

No time for practice for both teams as the rubber match for the coveted Philippine Collegiate Champions League trophy is up for grabs in the next 24 hours.
Will it be history for the Adamson Falcons or Back-to-Back PCCL 'chips for the Ateneo Blue Eagles? It's winner take all in Game 3 of the PCCL 2010 Finals.
