The Lady Red Warriors perhaps can't still get over their losses in the last couple of games. A win against the defending champs would be a much needed boost of confidence UE. HOWEVA, the UST Tigresses have other plans in mind.

UST got an easy win and swept UE 3 sets to nil. It was pretty much like the way UE lost to National University last Saturday sans Kite Rosale and Jimberly Dizon's efforts. The Tigresses' Judy Caballejo was named player of the game with 16 points (15 attacks).

In the second game, lightning struck twice for the Lady Archers as it was their second game that weren't able to sweep their opponents. This time it's the struggling Lady Tamaraws turn to give DLSU a run for their money.

La Salle did their usual thing in the first set but it was a different story in second set. FEU played one of their best sets in the game. They shocked them with a win in set number 2. The Lady Archers bounced back in the third set. The Lady Tams almost caught up almost got an equalizer in the fourth set but faltered in the end. DLSU won against FEU 3-0.

Jacqueline Alarca was named player of the game with 21 points (16 attacks, 2 blocks, 3 serves). The still undefeated DLSU Lady Archers remain on top of the standings while the UST Tigresses are still second banana in the tournament.
