For DLSU's Mika Reyes, their loss to FEU at the 2013 Uni Games an unforgettable moment

Mika Reyes and the DLSU Lady Spikers are looking to extend their win streak
against the FEU Lady Tamaraws this Sunday afternoon.

The UAAP 76 Women's Volleyball is pretty much on a roll and only a few games in the first round of eliminations in the tournament. Defending champs DLSU recently extended their win streak against UP last December 18, 2013. So far, it's been a walk in the park for the Lady Spikers with their current unblemished record. sitting on top of the standings.

Obviously, it's also another day in the office for one Mika Reyes. Despite racking up easy wins -- all in 3 straight sets -- Mika says every team in the UAAP are not to be underestimated whether it's UP, UE or rival opponent for that matter. She still believes any team can beat them at any time.

"Hindi namin sila ina-understimate – we don’t ever underestimate any opponent," Reyes said.

"Siyempre alam naman natin na kahit UP or UE pero di mo masasabi e – bilog talaga ang bola."

Going up against FEU this Sunday, the Lady Spikers haven't forgotten what happened at the recent Uni Games in Bacolod in 2013. Then defending champs in the off-season tournament, the FEU Lady Tamaraws pulled a shocker on DLSU -- whom were expected to win it all at the Uni Games. The La Salle lost to FEU in 3-straight sets -- a loss that a lot of fans never saw coming.

The third year spiker literally took the loss hard at the time. Like all the fans that witnessed that game, she couldn't forget that particular event. She was still very much at a loss for words reckoning that day.

"Di ko talaga makakalimutan yung pagkatalo namin sa FEU sa UniGames. First ever ako umiyak non," the towering Spiker explained.

"Sobrang nalungkot talaga ako non. Hindi ito in a yabang way, na di kasi kami nakakaranas ng talo but iba yung feeling non. Basta di ko sila makakalamitan yun. Straight sets kasi yun eh. Di ko sila makakalimutan talaga," Mika stressed.

With the DLSU Lady Spikers facing the FEU Lady Tamaraws for the first time this UAAP season 76, they're looking to redeem themselves from their heart-breaking loss at the 2013 Uni Games this Sunday.
