Not to mention those who are into art have been inspired by the brand as well. And yes, even in the music industry, Converse has always got them covered. Simply put, Converse is such a diverse brand it doesn’t matter what you do or lifestyle you have. The Philippines is somewhat like that to say the least.
Fans of the brand trooped the SM Mall of Asia to witness this event. The party still went on despite the bad weather. Skateboarders didn’t mind the rain during the event. I went to the event late in the evening. I missed most of the good stuff including the 3-on-3 Streetball event. The local bands were already playing when I got there. Forgot to mention there’s this hot DJ chick providing the beats at the event. I didn’t get her name but one thing’s for sure though is that she’s from another country.

There’s also mini theater wherein you can watch some Converse clips in 3-D and a freedom wall of sorts for visitors to try and make their own Graffiti art. It’s really a laid back atmosphere there even though I missed some of the good stuff. I had to call it a night as didn’t stay on long enough to wrap up the event.
Big ups to Converse Philippines for putting up that awesome event and I gotta thank them for inviting me, as well.
Hope to attend more of their events in the future.
