Hard fought win for TnT Tropang Texters in OT

Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters guard Jason Castro knows a thing or two about being clutch.

In what seemed to be a potential win for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters suddenly went down the toilet. The injury plagued Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters virtually fought tooth and nail to earn that 106-104 win in overtime yesterday. They can all thank Jason Castro for that.

The prolific point guard delivered for his team when they needed him the most. He even hit the game winning shot for the Texters. Now, that is clutch!

The big men of Rain or Shine Jervy Cruz and Beau Belga did everything they could to prevent the Tropang Texters scoring run but wasn't enough.

Both teams slugged it out and the game was really, really tight indeed.

It all came down to which team that wanted it more.

The Texters' Ranidel De Ocampo lead all scorers with 27 points while the hero Jason Castro chipped in 21 points.

Jervy Cruz of the Elasto Painters finished with 16 points. Ryan Arana also had 15 points and Beau Belga 13 more for Rain or Shine.

With the Tropang Texters' over Rain or Shine, they remain as the top team in the standing
