Predict the PBA games: Petron Blaze-Barako Bull, Powerade-Alaska

Can Gary David and the Powerade Tigers bounce back and win today's game against the Alaska Aces?
(Paul Ryan Tan/InterAKTV)

Looks like it's time once again to predict the outcome of today's PBA games: Petron Blaze Boosters vs Barako Bull Energy and Powerade Tigers vs Alaska Aces. Since starting this thing last Wednesday, I say this will be a permanent fix from now on. In the coming games, I'ma make this thing a bit more enticing for y'all so watch out for that one.

So without further ado, let's do this shall we!

Game one: Petron Blaze Boosters win by 15

Hands down, the Boosters are still the team to beat but y'all can bet the Barako Bull Energy will put up a fight. Should Arwind Santos go into beast mode and his team plays consistent basketball, they can easily win this one.

Game two: Powerade Tigers win by 10

I admit I'm an Alaska fan but why am I putting over Powerade in this particular game? Simple -- cohesiveness. The Aces are still trying to getting used to Joel Banal's system and it's gonna take a while for them to start a win streak. True enough, they are really missing Tim Cone's triangle offense.

The Powerade Tigers are looking to avenge their loss from the Meralco Bolts last Wednesday and they ain't happy campers. I expect Gary David to get fired up with his scoring early on. Should, David start to get cold offensively, his teammates better pick up the slack if they wanna win this game.
