The National University Lady Bulldogs somehow got their revenge when they lost to the FEU Lady Tamaraws for the 5th spot in the standings. With the University of the East Lady Warriors playing in their worst season to date, getting a win should be an easy one. True enough, that's exactly what the Lady Bulldogs did on Saturday.
UE kept the game close but NU got the better of them to take the 1st set. Similar performance for the Lady Warriors in the 2nd set but it didn't matter as the Lady Bulldogs sealed their 2-0 over them. In the 3rd set however, NU halted UE's tracks as they didn't reach the 20-point mark and soon enough, redepmtion was at hand. The NU swept the lowly UE Lady Warriors 3 sets to nil.
Maraicar Nepomuceno of National U was the Shakey's Best Player of the Game finished with 14 points.

In the main event, the FEU Lady Tams defeated the UP Lady Maroons 3-1. Mela Lopez played her final game in Lady Maroons jersey as she finished with 9 points (8 attacks).
Maica Morada of FEU was named Shakey's Best Player of the Game racking up 26 points (21 attacks and 5 service aces).
